Geo TDS

Geo TDS is a system of traffic distribution which allows redirect the user to the most profitable offer (for his particular traffic) for the correspondent country using one link only. The affiliate personally chooses which offers should be included in each tds.

It’s useful if you:

  • work with several offers which are alike, but accept traffic from different countries (I’ll describe this case in details below);
  • you’ve got traffic from a country, but cannot choose the offer to use it;
  • you’ve got traffic from several countries, but you have no possibility to distribute it to different offers by yourself.

You can find Geo TDS in Promo Tools along with Reject Traffic TDS that I described in my previous post:

Now let’s create a TDS that will distribute traffic to several offers named Popular Screensavers for different countries:

  • Popular Screensavers – US
  • Popular Screensavers – Mexico
  • Popular Screensavers – Argentina
  • Popular Screensavers – Australia

I’m going to my TDS list page (I can create infinite number of TDS) and creating my first TDS, giving it a title: Screensawers.

Once the TDS created, I can start adding there offers. This is how TDS edit page looks like:

Tab Offers allows you to add the countries you are interested in (it makes offers search more easy). Default is used for searching among all the offers in the network.

On the Links tab you can generate link to your TDS. I´ll describe this later. Now I’m going to illustrate the difference between offers search for a particular country and using Default parameter:

I’ve added United States to the country list and now I’m going to look for an appropriate offer:

In my search results I’ll get only offers found by keyword popular screensavers for US:

Offer description contains usual information, including preview. To add the offer, just check it on the left and click on Add Offers.

Done!

The rest of the offers I’ll add using Default parameter:

I’m putting the same keyword and choosing all countries except United States. Sure thing, in my search results I get much more offers than last time:

If you see the sign  instead of checkbox, you should agree to the offer terms before you can add it to your TDS.

For example, the terms of the Popular Screensavers campaign are hard enough (the screenshot below shows them only partly). But complingy with this terms is an obligatory condition for each Daoleads affiliate. If you have any questions regarding the offer terms, please contact Daoleads support.

I’ve read the terms and agreed to them, then I’ve checked necessary offers and clicked on Add offers.

As a result, there are 4 offers in my Sreensavers TDS:

Now I should generate link to this TDS. I can do it on the Links tab. While doing this, I can use all usual options for  link generating. More details, in my post about generating links.

And now I’ll explain how to use TDS in another two cases mentioned in the beginning of this post.

If you’ve got traffic from a country, but cannot choose the offer to use it:

If you’ve got traffic from several countries, but you have no possibility to distribute it to different offers by yourself:
